Mt. Climbing at the Beach
Today we went to climb some dunes. It was so much fun introducing John and the kids to a giant sandbox. Immediately they took off running and half way up you could see them all slow down. It looked like a movie in slow motion.
As we were coming down we decided to race eachother. We all took off in different directions. As I looked up I saw John face first in the sand and not too happy about it. He had tripped and fallen into a pricker bush. Looking around to see where everyone ended up I saw how God had interrupted our race to protect John from a huge injury. Just a few feet in front of where he was headed was a 3foot circle of broken bottles. We were so incredibly thankful for God’s protection. It was a great testimony to our kids about why we pray and tithe.
